Praying from your heart

So this week has been pretty great. Mostly because Harry was baptized! and we baptized him in Chinese which is way cool. I don't have my camera on me but I might be able to get on later today and send some pictures of the baptism. 

So you need to google timtamslam.  It will change your life. 

So do you remember when we went to the funeral and it was for the wrong lady. Well we've gone and visited that lady (who we thought had died) twice this week which was nice. She's having such a hard time but I know that she has really taken a liking to us and our message. In fact on Saturday we taught her how to pray from her heart instead of just reciting written prayers which is what she had been doing previously. We also gave her and her daughter a Book of Mormon and they were so excited. Hopefully they actually read it. I don't know if we'll be able to visit her again because she went back home but they said they would be open to having missionaries come to their home so we'll have to follow up with the missionaries in her area and see how that goes. Hopefully everything works out for her. 

Back to Harry's story. After the baptism we asked him to get up and bear his testimony and it was so great. He talked a lot about how because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can start again and again and again. He also talked a lot about how God gives us weaknesses to teach us how to be humble which coincides with his favorite verse Ether 12:27. Go read it. 

At church we had a special combined blitz family history thing where everybody brought computers and actually did family history work during the second and third hours of church. apparently missionaries are experts at family history because everybody was asking us all their questions so we just kinda did our best. Thanks Mom for sending me the family name to take to the temple. That will be so great. I love you guys!
